Kristen is an aspiring writer, beginning crafter, amateur musician, and professional goof. As the one with the most initiative for the creation of this blog, she gets to claim first authorship. She likes hiking, quilting, board games, and vacation, but mostly vacation. She spends her time chasing her two kiddos and sharing with them the joy of adventure.
Mark is a chemist who loves to
blow things up do research and teach college kids. Mark looks forward to traveling the world and bringing his camera with him. He likes football, poker, vacation, and being done with grad school. Part chemist, part evil genius, Mark is pretty much just awesome.
We met in college and share a love of Husky sports. (Go Dawgs!) We both discovered our love of travel while in the Husky Marching Band and think it's normal to consider traveling in groups of less than 240 small. Someday we want to go on a "cool college football stadium" tour and visit a new football stadium on every Saturday during the fall. Hmm... is it too early to start planning our retirement trips?
